Over a length of more than 700kms from North to south floating in the clear blue waters of Bay of Bengal, East of the Indian main land consists of over 572 emerald Islands (36 of which are inhabited) alongwith the islets and rocks, the Union Territory of Andaman & Nicobar Islands exists.
The Island has been the land of the pre-historic aboriginal tribes. In the Andaman one can find the tribes of 'Negrito origin', while the Nicobar Islands are inhabited by the 'Mongloid stock'.

SCUBA DIVING

Andaman & Nicobar Scuba Diving Society is situated at Wandoor and it provides Scuba Diving opportunities to the explorers. Private divers are also available.
SNORKELING
Witness the rarest of the varieties of corals by “snorkeling” near the Andaman Water Sports Complex, Corbyn's Cove Tourism Complex, Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park, Havelock and other islands on all days from dawn to dusk depending on weather.
TREKKING
One can go trekking through the nature trail from Mt. Harriet to Madhuban and enjoy the rare forest life, flora and fauna. There are other trekking routes also. Trekking equipment and tents are available on hire from Andaman Teal House.
ISLAND CAMPING
Island camps are just the right choice for the nature lovers, who wish to enjoy sun, sea and pristine beauty of nature by spending quiet holidays right on the beach. Tents are available locally on hire from October to May.
BIG GAME FISHING
The waters around these islands are ideal for Trolling, Popper Casting, Bottom fishing& Jigging. EXPLORE THE ANDAMANS
DAY 1
Morning:- Arrival at Port Blair in the morning by flight / ship and transfer to the hotel.
Afternoon:-After lunch, proceed for a leisurely “Harbour Cruise” in a steamer along the Port Blair Harbour – which takes one to “Viper Island”. The gallows atop a hillock here is a sight worth watching. Evening:- Attend the enthralling “Sound and Light Show” at Cellular Jail- where you are taken back to the heroic saga of the Indian freedom struggle.
DAY 2
Morning:-After breakfast get ready for a full-day Excursion to the “North Bay" coral island where you will witness the coral reefs, the exotic varieties of beautiful ornamental fishes and marine life. Then take a “glass bottom boat” ride which will give you a closer look at the vast coral colonies. If you wish, indulge in the adventure sports of –“Snorkeling”, “Swimming” & “Trekking”.
Afternoon:- visit the “corbyn’s cove beach”, a coconut palm fringed beach which is 9 kms from Port Blair ideal for swimming & sun-basking.
DAY 3
Morning:- After breakfast, start for a full day city tour of places in & around Port Blair, covering the famous “Cellular Jail”, “Chatam Saw mill”, one of the oldest and largest in Asia, “Forest museum”, “Mini zoo”, “Anthropological Museum”, “Fisheries”, “Marine Museum”, “Science center”, “Naval Marine Museum”, Samudrika, Andaman Water Sport Complex( for water and adventure sports like water skiing , speed boats, water scooters, tube rides, etc).& Gandhi Park.
DAY 4
Morning:- After breakfast ,proceed for Mount Harriet- The second highest in the Andamans ‘365 meters in height’, offering a magnificent birds eye view of Port Blair’s adjoining islands .One can trek 5 kms through a nature’s trial of exotic flora and fauna and endemic birds and butterflies.
Afternoon:- Visit the Cottage Industries Emporium (Sagarika)- for shopping and souvenirs.
DAY 5
Morning:- After breakfast, visit the “Ross Island”, which was governed by the Britishers, prior to India’s Independence. The destination is ideal for nature walk amidst the beautiful surroundings alongwith deers, peacocks, exotic birds, etc.
Afternoon:- After lunch, visit the “Chidiya Tapu”- which is 31 kms from Port Blair and is generally recognised as the “Bird Island” covered with lush green mangroves and beautiful beach with breath-taking sunset, all of which creates a mesmerizing environment. Those of you who wish to participate in “Swimming”, “Snorkeling” & “Trekking” can do so.
DAY 6
Transfer to the Airport/Harbour for return flight /voyage.

Morning: Travel by car to Baratang which is about 110 kms by road from Port Blair. “Baratang” is an ideal place for the eco-friendly tourist seeking the solitude of the pure untouched ever so green nature. Then travel by car to Port Blair which is a 4.5 hours drive and involves crossing of creeks and dense tropical rain forests, inhabited by the natives of the Andaman- the “Jarawas”. Stay for the night at Baratang. You can also see exotic Limestone Caves & Mud Volcanoes.
DAY 2
Morning:- After breakfast, departure by car towards Port Blair which is a 4.5 hours drive and once again travel through the dense forests inhabited by the “Jarawas”.
Afternoon:-Arrive Port Blair.
