Day 1 : Delhi Arrive Mumbai and transfer hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2 : Delhi Full day combined sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi – visiting Qutab Minar one of the tallest tower of it’s time, Humayun Tomb one of the forerunner of the Taj Mahal, drive past India Gate and President House and other government buildings, Red Fort symbol of mighty Mughal empire, Jama Masjid one of the biggest mosque in India, Chandni Chowk and Raj Ghat (Mahatma Gandhi Memorial). Overnight at hotel.
Day 03 :Delhi/ Varanasi Morning fly Delhi/ Varanasi. Arrive Varanasi and transfer to hotel. Afternoon excursion to Sarnath - visit the sites where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon. Evening visit Dashwamedh Ghat to witness evening prayer on holy Ganges. Overnight at hotel. Day 04 – Varanasi/ Khajuraho
Early morning transfer to the riverfront for a dawn boat ride along the ghats river Ganges when devotees offer their morning prayer venerating holy water. Later, walk through the narrow alleyways of Old Varanasi exploring some important temples. In time transfer to airport to board the flight for Khajuraho. Arrive Khajuraho and transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 05 : Khajuraho Morning visit the Eastern Group of temples – also, visit newly excavated 10th century Chandela temple. Afternoon visit Western group of temples (A World heritage Site – these temples are famous for their intricately carved erotic sculptures). Overnight at hotel.
Day 06 : Khajuraho to Agra
Late morning depart Khajuraho by surface for Jhansi (178 km approx.) stopping by en route to visit Orcha Palace and royal cenotaphs that line along the bank of Betwa river. Arrive Jhansi in time to board evening train for Agra. Arrive Agra and transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel. Day 07 – Agra
Early morning optional visit to the Taj Mahal to view the monument by sunrise. Later in the morning visit the Agra Fort from where four of the mighty ruler from
Mughal dynasty ruled their vast empire. Wander around the palaces built by successive emperors – Fort also is a vantage point to view Taj Mahal in a different angle and tomb of Itmad-ud-daulah considered to be another forerunner of the Taj Mahal. Petra Dora work here is quite a delight to see. Afternoon visit the most beautiful monument of love the Taj Mahal, which is flawless to its conception and execution. Stay on the view the monument in the soft light of the setting sun. Overnight at hotel.
Day 08 : Agra to Ranthambhore
Monring depart Agra by surface for Ranthambhore (280 Km) stopping en route to visit the deserted capital of Fatehpur, which is in an amazing state of preservation. Arrive Ranthambhore and check in at hotel. Overnight at hotel. Day 09 –Ranthambhore Morning and evening visit Ranthambhore National Park for game viewing. Nestled in the confluence of Aravali and Vindyas two oldest mountain ranges Ranthambhore National Park is the most popular Tiger reserve. Arid forest type with sparse undergrowth make game viewing delightful here. Overnight at hotel.
Day 10 :Ranthambhore to Jaipur
Late morning depart for Jaipur (190 Km) by surface. Arrive Jaipur and check in at hotel with rest of the day at leisure or free for optional activities. Overnight at hotel. Day 11 – Jaipur Morning visit Amber Fort, which guarded one of the important defile from the invading enemies. Climb atop fort’s rampart on elephants back. Later, visit City Palace and museum that houses artifacts, weapons, manuscripts and royal garments. Also, visit 17th century astronomical observatory ‘Jantar Mantar’ that works quite accurately till date. Overnight at hotel.
Day 12 : Jaipur to Mandawa
Depart Delhi by surface for Mandawa. Arrive Mandawa and check-in at Hotel.Afternoon visit the some the fascinating havelies of Mandawa – lies in the Shekhawati region which called the open air art gallery of Rajasthan havelies here with lavish facades and colourful fresco paintings on the walls tells the bygone glory of this region. Overnight at hotel. Day 13 – Mandawa to Bikaner
Morning depart Mandawa by surface. Arrive Bikaner and check in at hotel. Afternoon Visit Junagarh Fort and local market. Overnight at hotel.
Day 14 :Bikaner to Jaisalmer
Morning visit the Lalgarh Palace and Museum. Early afternoon depart Bikaner for Jaisalmer. Arrive Jaisalmer and check in at hotel. Overnight at hotel. Day 15 – Jaisalmer Morning visit the Jaisalmer Fort and the Jain temples inside. Afternoon drive to visit Sam sand dunes. Also, take short camel ride on the dunes – stay on to view sunset on the Thar Desert. Returning to the hotel in the evening. Overnight at hotel.
Day 16 : Jaisalmer to Jodhpur
Morning sightseeing tour of Jaisalmer visiting quaint havelies – some of the prominent among them are Patwa-ki-haveli, Nathmal-ki-haveli, Salim Singh-ki-haveli. Afternoon depart Jaisalmer by surface for Jodhpur. Arrive Jodhpur and check in at hotel. Overnight at hotel. Day 17 – Jodhpur Morning visit Mehrangarh Fort one of the most impressive forts in Rajasthan, visit the museum inside which has a good collection of weapons, canopies, royal hodha and royal cradles. Also, visit nearby Royal Memorial. Afternoon at leisure or free for optional activities. Overnight at hotel.
Day 18 :Jodhpur to Udaipur
Morning depart Jodhpur for Udaipur by surface stopping by en route to visit Jain Temple of Ranakpur where its 1444 intricately carved pillars are unlike one another. Arrive Udaipur and check in at hotel Overnight at hotel. Day 19 – Udaipur Morning visit City Palace actually series of palaces clustered into an impressive whole, Sahelion-ki-bari and Folk Art Museum. Afternoon at leisure or free for optional activities. Overnight at hotel.
Day 20 – Udaipur to Delhi
In time transfer to airport to board the flight for Delhi. Arrive Delhi and transfer to hotel with rest of the day at leisure or free for optional activities. Late evening transfer to international airport to board the flight for onward destination.
